...2020 should have been the year of the Cello. I had planned to build and restore 2-3, but then the bows came along. A family of musicians asked me to look through their collection of bows and to take them in consignment. It took me all year to get an overview of the bows, and thanks to the help of an enthusiastic, competent and anything but faint-hearted colleague, most of the bows now have a name and a certificate. After long and silent years in boxes the bows are now looking forward to a musical future.

I had been expecting a full Lockdown, when i got the news from the guild of Violinmakers, that we're allowed to open our workshops and to allow musicians to come to the shop.
Of course everybody has to wear a mouth and nose-protection, to disinfect hands and only one musician a time is allowed in.
